The new mapping tool, FormSketch, will autosave the map as you go along, and you can access what's already been drawn / added on multiple devices (eg: if you need to switch between a mobile device or a computer / laptop). It will keep the progress that you have made, so that you can edit from where you left off.
You can create a save of the map using the Export function, by selecting the Menu bars > Export > select the file type to export as.
