When creating or editing an invoice in the Web Portal you can click on the item dropdown and start typing in the field indicated in the image below to search the saved items that you have in your Formitize account. A new item can be created when editing / creating a new invoice. 



When creating or editing an invoice on the App you can search existing items that you have in your account by selecting Add Item, and then tap on the blank Item space to bring up the saved Line Items list.


Note: New items cannot be created in the App.
