Default answers allow you to pre-fill form fields with commonly used responses to save time and ensure consistency. When a form is opened, any field with a default answer will already display that information for example: setting "NSW" as the default state. Users can still change the answer if needed. This feature is helpful for forms that are used regularly or require standard information, reducing manual entry and improving accuracy.

To add default answers to a Form Template in the Web Portal > Forms > Exisiting Templates > Select the field in the form you would like to add a default answer to > Enter the Text into a text box or in the Field Settings under Default Value. This can also be used for Multiple Choice options.

And/or Select the answer/s from a multiple choice question > Deploy / Publish Template to save the changes.

Default answers also apply to tables in the form, this can pre-fill answers and/or add a default amount of lines needed for that particular table.
