Assets are automatically sorted by their Register ID, which is generated based on when each Asset is added to the system.
By default, Assets are displayed from newest to oldest, rather than by their Asset Number.
To change the order in the Web Portal, go to Assets > Asset Register > Select the Register ID column heading to display Assets from oldest to newest.
Please Note: This sorting preference cannot be saved as a View and will need to be selected each time.
Assets displayed within Forms are also automatically sorted from newest to oldest. This is part of ongoing Asset development, however, there is currently no scheduled change to this functionality.
