Yes, Asset Types can be deleted, however this process cannot currently be reversed, so you would need to be certain that you want to delete it, as you will also lose access to any Assets that are listed under that Asset Type.
To delete an Asset Type, go to Assets > Asset Types > select the checkbox for the Asset Type to delete > select Delete in the dropdown > select Go.
