Yes, notes can be added to an Asset via the Web Portal and the App.
In the Web Portal go to Assets > Asset Register > select the Asset Type tab > select the edit arrow for the Asset > select the Notes tab > write the Note > select Add Note.
In the App go to Assets > select the Asset Type > select the Asset > select the Notes tab / image > select the + symbol to add a new note.
