You can bulk import Assets into Formitize using a CSV file through the Web Portal. This allows you to add multiple Assets at once rather than creating each Asset individually.
Before importing, ensure you have created the relevant Asset Type and prepared your CSV file with the required Asset information.
In the Web Portal go to Assets > Import Assets.
The Import Assets page provides an Example CSV showing the correct file structure, including standard fields such as Asset Name, Client, Address, Description and any custom fields configured within your Asset Type.
Prepare your CSV file using the example format, ensuring your column headings are included in the first row.
Once your file is ready, go to Asset Category > Select the relevant Asset Type from the dropdown > Choose File > Select your CSV file to begin the import process.
Please Note: Assets must be imported using a CSV file, and the relevant Asset Type must already exist before importing. Ensure your column headings and information match the required format to avoid import errors.
